Accelera is an innovative web application designed to bridge the gap between local artisans and major corporations within the country. The platform aims to provide a seamless connection, fostering collaboration and business growth. In 2021, Accelera was recognized for its outstanding functionality and design at the Economic Forum on Balkathon.
The primary challenge was to create a platform that catered to a diverse user base, including local artisans with limited digital literacy and large corporations with complex procurement processes. The application needed to be scalable to support a growing number of users and transactions, ensuring responsiveness and reliability under heavy load. Additionally, the user experience had to be intuitive and user-friendly for both artisans and corporate users. Integration with various third-party systems used by corporations for procurement and supply chain management was essential, as was ensuring robust security to protect sensitive business data and user information.
Conclusion
To address these challenges, we focused on web design, development, and brand identity. The design phase involved creating a clean, user-friendly interface with easy navigation, tailored to meet the needs of both artisans and corporate users. Multi-language support was implemented to accommodate the diverse user base. The development phase utilized scalable technologies and cloud infrastructure to handle increasing user numbers and transactions without compromising performance. A responsive design ensured the web application provided a seamless experience across all devices.
Accelera won the Best Functionality and Design award at the 2021 Economic Forum on Balkathon, highlighting the platform’s innovative approach and excellent execution. The platform saw a significant increase in user engagement, with thousands of artisans and several major corporations actively using the application. Many local artisans reported substantial business growth due to the new opportunities and connections facilitated by Accelera. Both artisans and corporate users praised the platform for its ease of use, functionality, and seamless integration of essential features.
